Is it permissible to supplicate against an oppressive female coworker that her Hajj not be accepted and that she be unable to perform it?
The best course of action for the wronged person is to forgive their oppressor, for Allah the Almighty said: "So whoever forgives and makes reconciliation - his reward is due from Allah." It is also permissible for the wronged person to supplicate against the one who wronged them, for Allah the Almighty said: "Allah does not like the public utterance of evil, except by one who has been wronged," and because the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Beware of the supplication of the oppressed, for there is no barrier between it and Allah." The supplication should be proportionate to the injustice, because it is a retribution, and exceeding this is not permissible.
