If a boy reaches 14 years of age, he is either an adult, and the signs of male puberty are: wet dreams or the growth of pubic hair. If he is an adult, he is accountable and is not permitted to mix with women or speak to them. If he has not reached puberty, he is in adolescence, and a woman must veil herself from him.
