Is it permissible to work in a supermarket that sells cigarettes, while the salary is calculated from the profits of other goods such as poultry, eggs, and meat, especially since my father has passed away and there is an urgent need to work to cover personal expenses and help with family burdens? And is the salary earned from previous work in the same place unlawful (haram)?

Smoking and selling tobacco are forbidden in Islamic law. Working in a shop that sells tobacco is permissible if the worker does not directly sell it or assist in its sale. As for receiving a salary from the mixed funds of the shop, it is permissible, and whatever was earned before knowing of its prohibition is considered lawful.
