Is a daughter's refusal to marry on the grounds of completing her studies considered a sufficient reason to postpone marriage, and is it permissible to force her into marriage?

Therefore, studies should not be an obstacle or a reason to forgo marriage. The preponderant view is that a father is not permitted to force his daughter into marriage, due to the potential for failure in her marital life, and perhaps her entire life, that could result from such an act. We advise trying to convince the daughter to marry if a suitable spouse is found, presenting her with relevant fatwas, and seeking assistance from those who have influence over her.
