Is it permissible for a niqabi wife to voluntarily uncover her face in front of her husband’s brothers and their sons, knowing that she perceives no fitna in uncovering her face and does not intermingle with them?

Scholars have differed regarding the permissibility of a woman uncovering her face in front of non-mahram men when there is no fear of fitnah (temptation), and the fatwa we adopt is that it is not permissible. If you believe it is permissible for a wife to uncover her face when there is no fear of fitnah, then there is no harm in your permitting her to do so in front of your brothers and their sons. However, if you believe that she must cover her face, or if you fear fitnah, then it is not permissible for you to allow her to uncover it in front of them, and she must obey you in this matter.
