The answer

If she made a vow to slaughter a sheep, then she is bound by that vow. The conditions for an (sacrificial animal) apply to it in terms of age and freedom from defects. Refer to related fatwas regarding the method of distribution and consumption from it. However, if she did not make a vow, then slaughtering is not obligatory for her. But if she does so as a form of gratitude to Allah for her safety, then that is good. This particular slaughter does not require any specific conditions in itself or in its distribution method.
