Is insulting religion considered major disbelief that expels one from the faith, necessitating re-entry into Islam, and what is the ruling on someone for whom this act recurs until it becomes a habit?

Whoever curses the religion must review their faith with sincere repentance, by performing ghusl (ritual bath), uttering the two testimonies of faith (Shahadatayn), and increasing in seeking forgiveness and righteous deeds. The door of repentance is open for all sins. Scholars unanimously agree that cursing or belittling the religion, or cursing or mocking the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, is an act of disbelief (kufr) and apostasy (riddah). Such a person is asked to repent; if they repent, their repentance is accepted, otherwise, they are executed. If they repent with sincere and truthful repentance, their repentance is accepted by Allah, even if the cursing was repeated. As for the scholars' disagreement regarding accepting the repentance of someone whose apostasy has been repeated, it pertains to the apparent ruling; but between the individual and Allah, if they fulfill the conditions of repentance, it is accepted.
