What is the ruling on the school collecting money from students for an employee who has not received her salary for two years?

It is permissible to combine the salaries of some student-employees in the school under three conditions:

1. Approval from the competent authorities and accurate accounting of the funds. 2. The student must be an adult of sound mind. If not, then with the guardian's permission and in a way that benefits the student, unless the money is a donation. 3. The wage must be for teaching subjects that are permissible in Islamic law.

This permissibility is based on the jurists' view that it is permissible to take a wage for teaching the Quran and knowledge. This is also indicated by the Hadith narrated by Al-Bukhari from Ibn Abbas regarding taking a wage for ruqyah (exorcism) with the Quran, for the generality of the wording is what matters, not the specificity of the cause.
