Is it permissible to sell a dress (prepared for sale) to a male who claims he will use it to attend a wedding?

If you are certain or highly assume that the buyer will use the dress for an unlawful purpose, then it is not permissible to sell it to them. This is based on the Almighty’s saying: "And cooperate in righteousness and piety, but do not cooperate in sin and aggression." It is also based on the statement of Ibn Taymiyyah: "Every garment for which it is highly assumed that its wearing will aid in disobedience, it is not permissible to sell or sew it for someone who will use it for disobedience and injustice." However, in cases of doubt and mere conjecture, selling it is not forbidden, even if some scholars dislike it.
