Is it permissible to pray in the prayer hall adjacent to the mosque due to the intense heat at the time of Maghrib and Isha prayers?

Prayer in a prayer area adjacent to the mosque due to intense heat is permissible if all the people of the mosque pray there with their Imam, with preference given to praying in the mosque and ventilating it. However, if only some of the worshippers move, it is not permissible because it causes division among the congregation, and the Companions (may Allah be pleased with them) used to pray in intense heat. Scholars have prohibited building a mosque next to another except out of necessity, due to the division it causes among Muslims, equating it to a "mosque of harm" (Masjid al-Dirar).
