Will Allah (the Most High) punish a daughter for hating her parents, despite her extreme dutifulness and kindness towards them, due to their ill-treatment of her in the past? And will He answer their prayers against her and her children?

Your patience with your parents, your eagerness to honor them, and your avoidance of harming them is the correct path indicated by the Sharīʿah. Your reward will increase by your patience with their harm and their ill-treatment. Your dislike for them due to their injustice towards you is not a sin, as long as you fulfill their rights and are dutiful to them. Their imprecation against you without just cause will not harm you, just as their imprecation against your children without just cause will not be answered, because it is a supplication involving sin or the severing of kinship ties. Continue to honor them and be gentle with them, and lower your wing to them, especially in their weakness and old age.
