Allah has placed contentment and joy in His obedience, and whoever turns away from His remembrance will have a life of hardship. Whatever sorrow and grief befall a person are the fruit of sins. Among the effects of sins is a sense of alienation that the disobedient person finds between himself and Allah, and between himself and people, as well as difficulty in his affairs.
