Your fast is valid, and excessive sleeping does not affect its soundness. However, it is disliked because it leads to missing out on good deeds, provided that it does not cause you to miss the prayer. If you are accustomed to waking up for prayer and then sleep overcomes you, there is no blame on you, for the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "There is no negligence in sleep; negligence is only on one who does not pray until the time for the next prayer comes."
