Is it permissible to interrupt a supplication to respond to one's husband if there is no necessity, knowing that the wife feels uncomfortable interrupting a supplication?

A wife should respond to her husband when he calls, especially if she knows that her ignoring him will anger him. She can respond with a few simple words that do not interrupt her supplication. Supplicating to Allah is commendable and does not become forbidden by interrupting it to answer one's husband. In fact, it might even be commendable to do so if not doing so leads to resentment. The husband is advised to overlook the situation and appreciate his wife's desire to obey, and the wife is advised to apologize to her husband and not repeat what she did.
