What is the difference between al-maʿṣiyah (disobedience/sin), al-kufr (disbelief), and al-ʿiṣyān (rebellion/disobedience)?

Disobedience is the opposite of obedience, and disbelief is the opposite of faith. The difference between them is that disobedience is more general than disbelief; every disbelief is an act of disobedience, but not every act of disobedience is disbelief. A Muslim who commits an act of disobedience, if they die without repenting, Allah may erase their sins. Not every act of disobedience takes a servant out of Islam, unless they deem it permissible. As for the disbeliever, they will abide eternally in Hell, and Allah will never forgive their sin. Allah the Almighty says: (Indeed, Allah does not forgive association with Him, but He forgives what is less than that for whom He wills...).
