And must he accept the word of the sister who heard the father say that "he only has one apartment" a short time before his death, even though he did not hear this directly himself?

The gift that a father bestowed upon his children during his lifetime, if he did not deal justly in it by giving the male the equivalent of the share of two females, or by treating them equally, then upon his death, they must return what they took to the inheritance and divide it justly, with the male receiving the equivalent of the share of two females. Alternatively, they can agree by mutual consent to keep what they have, while taking into account the value of each property and adjusting for that when dividing the remaining inheritance. It is imperative to maintain kinship ties and avoid disputes.
