Is what we drink of tea, coffee, and water considered permissible (halal) or forbidden (haram) if prepared by a non-Muslim servant, and how should we deal with it?

The basic principle regarding water, tea, and coffee is permissibility. The fact that a Hindu furnishes them does not render them unlawful, due to the strong presumption of the cleanliness of the vessels and the purity of the contents. There is no harm in benefiting from them, as evidenced by the Prophet's (peace be upon him) acceptance of a Jew's invitation and his performing ablution from a polytheist woman's water skin. As for dealing with him, it should be with righteousness, justice, and kindness, without heartfelt love, while striving to guide him, for "that Allah guides through you a single man is better for you than red camels."
