If the donation is a charitable act effective during her lifetime and not a will, then there is no harm in it, as long as she is not suffering from a life-threatening illness. Scholars have stated the permissibility for a strong, earning person to spend all of their wealth, with certain conditions. However, if she intends to bequeath all of her wealth by will, and she has heirs, then she is not allowed to bequeath more than one-third of her wealth. She is also not allowed to resort to stratagems to deprive her husband of inheritance, even if the husband is the sole heir.
