Is working for Israeli construction companies within Israel or the West Bank, in the absence of an alternative, contrary to Islamic law?

The basic principle in dealing with disbelievers is permissibility, unless it involves humiliation or debasement of a Muslim. However, working with Jewish institutions that build on usurped land is religiously forbidden, due to it aiding them in usurping Muslim land and solidifying their presence on it, as Allah Almighty says: "And cooperate not in sin and aggression. And fear Allah; indeed, Allah is severe in penalty."
