Is it permissible for a man to wipe his penis on a wall if he urinates, instead of using stones?

It is permissible to cleanse oneself (istinja (definition)') with a wall according to the Shafi'is and Hanafis. However, it is forbidden by the Malikis if the wall is an endowment (waqf) or owned by someone else, and it is disliked if it is owned by the person performing istinja'. It is preferred for istinja' to be done with a stone first, then water after it, as this is more thorough in cleansing.
