Can the jinn delude a person into believing in the rectitude of true visions that foretell a good event before its occurrence, knowing that the jinn do not know the unseen?

Visions (Ru'ya) are from Allah, while dreams (Hulm) are from Satan. A righteous vision is one part of forty-six parts of prophecy. Satan can interfere with a person's dreams to grieve them and lead them astray, for he flows through a human like blood. The truthfulness of a pleasant vision is not evidence of the seer's righteousness; rather, what truly matters is the servant's rectitude and adherence to Allah's law. A Muslim must distinguish between divine inspirations and satanic suggestions, as the former are for the upright, and the latter are for the allies of Satan. Reciting Ayat al-Kursi before sleep protects a person from Satan.
