Is it permissible to emigrate from a Muslim country to a non-Muslim country with the aim of improving the family's standard of living, knowing that this country includes a large number of Muslims and freedom of religion, but Friday therein is a working day?

Scholars permit residing in non-Muslim lands only for an important need or an urgent necessity. It is not permissible otherwise, due to the consequences that result from it, such as befriending disbelievers, witnessing their abominations, and engaging in dealings that contradict the religion. It might also lead weak-willed individuals to emulate them and become content with their abominations. Therefore, it is not permissible to travel to these lands for the sake of worldly expansion. A Muslim can seek sustenance in Muslim lands where they are safe concerning their religion and character. And they are reminded of the words of Allah Almighty: "And whoever fears Allah – He will make for him a way out And will provide for him from where he does not expect."
