The answer

It is permissible to hold a wedding in the Islamic manner, and there is no objection to chanting with good words that do not incite desires and are free from musical instruments. It is permissible for women to sing and use the daff (tambourine), provided that the audience consists of women, based on the saying of Ar-Rabi': "The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, entered upon me on the morning of my wedding and sat on my bed as you are sitting with me, and little girls were beating the daff and mourning those of their fathers who were killed on the Day of Badr." And based on the saying of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him: "The distinction between lawful and unlawful is the daff and the voice."
