What is the ruling on using drums, طمبة, دهلة, tabla, and tambourines (duffs) in Islamic wedding celebrations?

It is absolutely forbidden to use musical instruments, and the only exception is the tambourine (daf) for women, based on the Prophet's (PBUH) saying: "There will be people from my Ummah who will legitimize illegal sexual intercourse, silk, alcoholic drinks, and musical instruments." Narrated by Al-Bukhari. Some scholars have reported a consensus on the prohibition of musical instruments, with the exception of the tambourine for women.
