If the husband permits his wife to work, he has no right to take any part of her salary except with her consent. Her salary is her exclusive right, and she may dispose of it as she wishes. However, if he stipulates that she give him a portion of her salary in exchange for her working, that is permissible. They should endeavor to reach an understanding to achieve the best interest of the family.
