Is a daily shower for a woman in postpartum bleeding (nifas), which is imposed on her in some hospitals, unlawful (haram) or reprehensible (makruh)?

Washing during the period of postnatal bleeding (nifas) is neither forbidden nor disliked; rather, it is permissible. A woman experiencing nifas may wash whenever she wishes. She is obligated to hasten to perform ghusl (ritual bath) as soon as she sees purity, even if it is before the forty days, and she then assumes the ruling of ritually pure women, as there is no minimum limit for nifas.
