How can media be utilized?

Media are a blessing from God that necessitates scrutiny in their utilization and avoidance of their harms. Therefore, their owners must use them to spread good and virtue and to warn against evil. They must not publish anything except what is confirmed to be beneficial and does not contradict Islamic beliefs and morals. Guardians must monitor the use of these media in their homes to teach good and to access what is useful, and to keep their children away from anything that corrupts, in compliance with His (the Almighty’s) saying: ﴿O you who have believed, protect yourselves and your families from a Fire whose fuel is people and stones, over which are angels, harsh and severe; they do not disobey Allah in what He commands them but do what they are commanded.﴾
