Umm Sulaym and Umm Haram, daughters of Milhan, were two sisters, and they were unmarriageable (mahram) to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, either through fosterage or kinship. For this reason, he used to visit them and would particularly call upon them. He visited Umm Haram, and she fed him and deloused his head. He then saw in a dream people raiding in the way of Allah, so she embarked on the sea and became a martyr. He also visited Umm Sulaym and slept on her bed, whereupon she collected his sweat for blessings.
