It was previously explained that scholars differ regarding the ruling on selling cats. The majority of scholars permit their sale, while distinguished scholars have favored impermissibility. One must act upon the preponderant opinion, and it is not permissible to adopt the weaker opinion if its weakness has become clear to you. "Every person's words can be taken or left, except for the words of the occupant of this grave," and he pointed to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him.
