Is it correct to say, "I rented out the house," or "I rented the house"?

Some linguists, such as Salah al-Zaabalawi and As'ad Daghir, have incorrectly used the verb "ajjar" (أجّر) with the shaddah to mean "ajar" (أجر) or "aajar" (آجر), stating that it only appeared with the meaning "to make bricks (ajjur)." Sheikh Ibrahim al-Yaziji and many lexicons permitted "ajjara" (أجّره) the house, but some noted that it is a "muwalladah" (أو مولّدة - neologism) or from colloquial dialects. The linguistically correct forms are "ajartu al-bayt" (أجرت البيت - I leased the house), or "aajartuhu" (آجرته - I rented it out), or "ista'jartuhu" (استأجرته - I rented it). Some linguists mentioned the permissibility of saying "aajartu" (آجرت) the house, in the pattern of "fa'al" (فاعل), and that it can take two objects.
