The answer

Nothing is known to be specifically forbidden in apart from breaking the fast, and what causes it for one who is not excused. As for someone who has a legitimate excuse, such as travel or illness, eating, drinking, and sexual intercourse are permissible for them. Thus, a traveler may engage in sexual intercourse with his traveling wife. However, if the wife is an adult and not excused, then sexual intercourse with her is forbidden, and it is forbidden for her to allow him to do so. And whoever engages in sexual intercourse during the daytime in Ramadan does not owe expiation if he is a child, a traveler, or a sick person who intended to avail himself of the dispensation.
