What is the ruling regarding a committed young man's heart becoming attached to a girl and his desire to marry her, despite it being currently unattainable?

The questioner is praised for his uprightness and eagerness to obey Allah, but is blamed for corresponding with a girl expressing his love to her, as this is a pretext for temptation and an entry point for Satan. Islamic law has commanded the blocking of pretexts (sadd al-dhara'i'). Allah Almighty says: "O you who have believed, do not follow the footsteps of Satan." It is indicated that the best path for those who love each other is marriage. If the questioner is unable to marry, then let him be patient until Allah facilitates his affair.
