The answer

The fluid discharged after intercourse is either maniy (sperm/seminal fluid) or madhiy (pre-seminal fluid). If it is madhiy, it must be washed from the body, and whatever of it has soiled the clothes must be purified by sprinkling water on it (nadh). If it is maniy, it is considered pure according to us, and this is the of the Shafi'is and Hanbalis. Intercourse necessitates (ritual bath). If it results in the emission of maniy, then the emission of maniy is another cause for ghusl. A single ghusl suffices for both causes, and this is the opinion of the majority of scholars. If maniy is discharged after ghusl, there is a difference of opinion on the matter.
