How sound is the ascription of words to Allah Almighty in a dream, such as: "You glorified Me in the world, so today I shall honor you and your offspring"?

Muslims should not be preoccupied with writing such tales, whose actual occurrence is unknown. The Quran, Sunnah, biographies, and historical accounts are sufficient for drawing lessons and admonitions. Such stories may be fabricated and have no basis in truth.
