Is the disobedience of children to their mother a punishment from God for her disobedience to her own mother, despite her repentance, seeking forgiveness, and her mother having forgiven her before her death?

A woman's repentance for disobeying her mother, if sincere, is accepted and erases what preceded it. Therefore, the disobedience of her children to her is not considered a punishment. Ibn Taymiyyah said: "The one who repents is not punished, neither in this world nor in the hereafter, neither by divine law nor by divine decree." It is obligatory to forbid children from disobeying their mother and to warn them of its consequences.
