The Ummah of Muhammad (peace be upon him) refers to two types:
First: The Ummah of Da'wah (invitation), which includes all humans and jinn to whom his message has reached. Whoever does not believe in him is among the inhabitants of Hellfire.
Second: The Ummah of Ijabah (response), who are his followers who believed in him.
The creed of the Ahl al- wa al-Jama'ah is that whoever dies believing in Allah and His Messenger will enter Paradise. Even if disobedient, they may enter Hellfire for a period, then be brought out of it and enter Paradise. As for whoever dies a disbeliever, they will abide eternally in Hellfire and will never exit from it.
