Can a wife be forced to return to her husband during her 'iddah period if she does not wish to do so?

Revocation (of divorce) is a right of the husband and does not require the wife's acceptance. It is the return of the divorced wife to the marital bond by compulsion. It is recommended to have witnesses for it. The divorced wife has no right to object to her husband revoking the divorce as long as she is within her waiting period (iddah) and the divorce was revocable (raji). However, if it was the third divorce, or a divorce by khul (dissolution at the wife's instance), or a judicial divorce due to harm to her, then his revocation has no effect because she has become irrevocably separated (ba'in) from him.
