The rights of the husband's family consist of good treatment, righteousness, and kindness to the best of one's ability. It is not obligatory to seek the mother-in-law's approval for everything. The duty is to obey the husband and seek his permission, as long as he does not command disobedience. As for the family, they have the right to maintain ties, righteousness, kindness, and visitation. Their right comes after the husband's right.
