Does seeing the deceased with a distorted neck and arm indicate a connection to the missed Ramadan fasting, which he was unable to observe due to illness, especially since expiatory feeding (kaffarat al-it'am) has been given on his behalf, and is it obligatory to fast on his behalf to make up for what he missed?

If a deceased person broke their fast in Ramadan due to an excuse, and the excuse continued until their death, then there is no make-up fasting required of them. If they were able to make up the fast but did not do so until their death, the preponderant opinion is that food should be given on their behalf, and it is permissible for their guardian to fast on their behalf.

The sick person for whom expiation (fidya) is given is one whose recovery is not expected. As for one whose recovery is expected, they must make up the fast after recovery; for Allah Almighty says: "So whoever among you is ill or on a journey [during them] - then [he must make up] an equal number of other days. And upon those who are able [to fast, but with difficulty] is a ransom: feeding a poor person." And the elderly man and elderly woman who are unable to fast should feed a poor person for each day.

If the sick person is one for whom expiation (fidya) can be given, and it was given without their permission, there is a difference of opinion regarding its sufficiency.
