What is the ruling on a religious, veiled woman working in an internet cafe, and how should she deal with people's negative perceptions and unacceptable comments towards this work?

If the work involves something forbidden, or a private meeting (khalwa) with non-mahram men, or an intermingling that does not guarantee safety from temptation (fitna), then it is impermissible. However, if there is a need for the work, and it does not involve forbidden matters, and interaction with men is limited and controlled by the regulations of the Sharia, and restricted to the extent of the necessity, then it is permissible.
