If a fire breaks out in a car without the owner's choice, he is not liable for what is damaged due to the fire spreading to another car, because there was no transgression or negligence on his part. The jurists have stated that if someone lights a fire on his own property and it spreads to another's property, he is not liable unless he was transgressive or negligent, such as lighting an unusually large fire, or on a day of strong winds.
