Who named God's prophet Moses with this name, and what was his name in Pharaoh's household?

It is narrated that the people of Pharaoh named Musa (Moses) with this name, and that its meaning in Coptic is "the newborn" or "the son." Others, however, believe that the name is of Hebrew origin, "Moshe," meaning "drawn from the water." There is no certainty as to who named him, but it is unlikely that the people of Pharaoh would have given him a Hebrew name. It is most probable that his mother did not wish to reveal his first name so as not to be accused of prior knowledge of him.
