How can one make the most of Ramadan through increased worship and drawing closer (to God), and how can one maintain constant devotion while reciting the Quran?
Ramadan is the best of months. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, gave glad tidings about it and urged good deeds therein. A Muslim must seize its times for righteous actions. Fluctuations in the feeling of faith and worship are natural, and no one is immune to them, not even the Companions of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said to Hanzala: "But O Hanzala, an hour for this and an hour for that." It is advised to continue performing obligatory prayers and supererogatory acts, avoid prohibitions, set a program for Quran recitation and remembrances (adhkar), and consistently attend gatherings of knowledge, for the deeds most beloved to Allah are "those that are continuous, even if they are few."
