Does Satan attend the dying, and what is the meaning of the supplication, "I seek refuge in Allah from Satan assailing me at the time of death"?

Satan strives to mislead the children of Adam until death, and he may whisper to the dying person, coming to him in the form of his parents to urge him to die upon a religion other than Islam.
