It is not permissible to take juice from a vendor without paying the price, unless he consents to it; because the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "It is not lawful to take a person's property without his willing consent." The vendor's silence or his statement that he does not want payment, if due to fear of an officer, does not make it permissible to eat or drink from his establishment without paying the price. However, if you know that he gave you the food or drink with his willing consent, then there is no harm upon you.
