How sound is the supplication: "O Allah, Changer of the year and circumstances, change our circumstances to the best of circumstances"?

The supplication, "O Allah, O transformer of situations and circumstances, transform our situation into the best situation," was not narrated from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, nor from the predecessors (Salaf). However, its meaning is correct. The door of informing about Allah is wider than the door of His Names and Attributes. This supplication falls under the category of informing, and its meaning contains nothing that is unfitting for Allah. For Allah Almighty is the One who transforms situations, and no transformation from one state to another occurs except with His permission, as is understood from the meaning of "there is no might nor power except with Allah," and that Allah is the One who transforms circumstances, and the power to do so comes from Him, glorified be He. This is also evident in the Prophet's supplication, "O Allah, by Your help I move, by Your help I attack, and by Your help I fight."
