If the money given to the family of the deceased is blood money (like in car accidents), then it is divided among the heirs like the rest of the inheritance. The killer is deprived of his share of it. If he killed him by mistake, he inherits everything except the blood money. If he killed him intentionally and aggressively, he inherits neither from the blood money nor from anything else.
