Is it permissible for a husband to force his wife to leave the marital home and go to her family's house while he is traveling, and what is the ruling of Sharia on that?

The basic principle is that the husband is religiously obligated to house his wife in a place separate from his family and her family. However, if he is traveling and fears harm may befall her, she is obligated to obey him if he commands her to reside in a safe place with his family, her family, or others for the duration of his absence, this being to avert harm.
