Is it forbidden to rent out one's university degree to a company, given that the company seeks to economize on hiring engineers and settles for graduates of institutes and training courses?

It is not permissible to do that, due to its violation of the public interest, breach of the obligatory condition, and its nature of lying, deception, and betrayal of trust. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Muslims are bound by their conditions," and "Whoever deceives is not of us," and "When trust is lost, then await the Hour."
