Is it permissible to perform Umrah on behalf of a deceased parent, given that the second Umrah will be on the day following the first?

It is permissible to perform 'Umrah on behalf of one's father after performing 'Umrah on one's own behalf, by going out to Tan'im and intending the 'Umrah for him. It is recommended to shorten the hair in the first 'Umrah to leave some for the second 'Umrah. Every act of proximity (qurbah) whose reward is dedicated to the deceased benefits them, by the will of Allah.
